Vindicate Horse Rescue & Training is a dedicated organization focused on rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming horses. We provide a safe haven for horses in need, offering them the care and training necessary for a better future.
We are located on a 30-acre property dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of horses. For privacy and safety reasons, we do not disclose our exact location online. Please contact us directly for more information or to arrange a visit.
Direct placement is an option for owners who wish to surrender their horse, but we don’t have space to take it in. We will offer our connections and reach to help them find a home. We pass along qualified and fitting homes to the owners who then schedule visits and make the final decision about rehoming. We are not into “horse sales” and are not interested in consignment selling.
To adopt a horse, please fill out our adoption application form. Once submitted, our team will review your application and contact you to discuss the next steps, including a home visit and adoption fee.
We knoow of several Facebook groups dedicated to this specific topic we can refer you to. If you aren’t on social media, we can assist you in getting one quote for transport with our established shipper. If you’re looking to shop around for the best price, we encourage you to research independently.
That’s completely up to you. If you are relocating the horse outside of Washington state, a coggins test is required to be in accordance with the law. If the horse is being transported with a shipper, they require a coggins test. Oftentimes, the horses are seen by a vet while in our care. Any findings will be communicated honestly with potential adopters, but vet checks and coggins tests before adoption are always encouraged.

We rescue horses of all breeds, ages, and backgrounds. Many of our horses come from neglectful or abusive situations, while others are surrendered by owners who can no longer care for them. Each horse receives individualized care and training to help them thrive.
